"One employee that comes to mind is Dani Hayden, who graduated from Bellevue University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Business Enterprise and Essentials Management. At her graduation ceremony, she decorated her mortarboard to say, 'She believed she could, so she did.' And that is Dani. She set a goal to be a leader at PayPal and then took ownership of her development by participating in our partnership with Bellevue University and PayPal's job shadow programs to make it happen. Next year, she will begin her MBA program with Bellevue University.
"Dani is a leader in many ways. She has achieved her goal of earning a leadership position at PayPal, as she currently manages the Executive Escalations team. She is also a dedicated co-leader of Amplify, our employee resource group for Black Employees and their allies. Dani has shared, 'I'm extremely passionate about diversity and inclusion. I'm enthusiastic about giving people who look like me a voice and a safe place in the corporate world. I enjoy connecting Amplify members with resources and tools, and creating life experiences designed to help members be their best selves. By being a part of Amplify, I get to have a positive impact on people's lives and make a difference every day.'
"Dani is a wonderful example of how our employees use the knowledge and skills they develop through their Bellevue University degree programs to make a difference in their own careers, make PayPal stronger, and help encourage and build up those around them!"
